Hi, I’m Michael! I graduated from the Electronics Engineering Technology Cooperative program at Fanshawe College in London, ON, Canada, in 1996. Following my graduation, I earned certification as an Applied Science Technologist from O.A.C.E.T.T..
One of my college instructors often said, “Never implement in hardware what you can implement in software.” That idea has guided me throughout my career and remains especially relevant today as software continues to drive innovation in automation and digital solutions.
My passion lies in web design, a field where creativity and technical skill intersect. I enjoy creating responsive and dynamic websites, crafting compelling content, and exploring new ways to engage online audiences. Teaching others these skills has become a key part of my journey—I believe that empowering others to master web technologies is a meaningful way to make an impact.
I also dedicate time to helping older adults bridge the “digital divide”—a generational gap in technology use. Through hands-on workshops, one-on-one lessons, and peer-led drop-in sessions, I strive to make technology accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
